Congressman Markey

Sara and Emily were very fortunate to have a meeting with Congressman Markey to discuss the importance of the Children's Miracle Network. Luckily Congressman Markey had great toys in his office because the girls tend to discuss politics better if there are toys available. The meeting was a great success!

But I do think the girls truly enjoyed the cab ride back to the hotel! Their first ride in a taxi!

Visiting the Capitol

Sara and Emily became great friends with Katy,Paige and Alexis from Nevada! What a great group of young ladies and a great family!

Sara and Emily with Wyatt, from Wisconsin, waiting outside the Visitor's Center...a great place for an ice cream treat! The girls could not get enough of Wyatt..."Helllooooo Wyattttt...." they would say, making Wyatt roll his eyes thinking..."not these silly girls again!" We just think these kids are the greatest!!!

The Capitol...amazing site so close!!!

Sara and Emily, bigger than life! They make us proud everyday!

Family picture in front of the Capitol...the weather could not have been better...sunny but not muggy or too hot!

Josh and the girls discussing politics by the Supreme Court water fountain....

Emily sharing her view on politics...just jump right on in if you want to get something done!

Emily living it up in Washington D.C.!!!

My "Surpremes" at the Supreme Court...they found a wobbly step and loved dancing on it and making it move! I am thankful the whole place did not fall apart!

Sara and Emily...Future Senators!

Sara and Emily took over the Senate Floor and loved the power given to them! Maybe one day they will be sitting there again supporting Children's Miracle Network!

At the Senate!

Andres (Iowa) and Emily having lunch at the Senate...signing autographs, smiling for photos and making a difference in the world! Go Champions!

Sara, Daddy, and Emily enjoying lunch while making important notes about the world's economy and the Children's Miracle Network.

Oh and we met with Scott Brown! Mr. Scott Brown took time to chat with our family as well as the other Champion Families! We got some great feedback from the families about our Senator! GO SCOTT BROWN!

Capitol Hill Photos!!!!
